What is Endodontics?

Endodontics is that part of dentistry that deals with:

• Etiology
• Prevention
• Pathology
• Diagnosis
• And the treatment of pulp ilnesses.

Endodontics is not just a technique, as commonly thought, but a part of dentistry. Among the possible endodontical treatments are:

• Therapeutics led to preserve and regenerate the pulp.
• Root canal treatment to preserve a tooth that has an inflamed or an irreversibly infected pulp
